Liam's First Weekend from Home

Well, Liam made his first road trip this weekend. We headed to Kernersville on Thursday afternoon. One of my best friends was getting married on Friday and I was in the wedding so I had to get to town for the rehearsal. We spent the weekend running around, as usual, but this time we had an extra passenger. We didn't realize how much room we didn't have in our car. The dogs take up the entire back, so Liam was completely surrounded in the back seat.

Anyway, we loved our visit with all the family. Liam is really tired now, but he seemed to enjoy seeing everyone. We did get some really cute pictures while we were in Kernersville and King. I hope you enjoy.

Happy Easter!

We just had a great first Easter weekend with Liam. He had a very full Saturday. We went shopping, to the farmers market and to Lowe's. He was as good as gold the whole time...though he did have a minor blowout at the farmers market.

Saturday evening we went to church for Easter service. It was much easier to take him then instead of trying to get him there for the Sunday morning service. We ended up having to watch the service from the cafe, due to some people who sat in the family room and did nothing but talk and drown out the preaching. Very irritating.

The most exciting thing this week is that Liam has started smiling. It is sometimes difficult to get a reaction from him, but it melts your heart when he responds with a big grin. I got a few pictures this morning when we tried to get some Easter shots.
